We are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified English Teacher to join our supportive and talented team at Hans Price Academy in Weston Super Mare. We are a growing organisation, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

Your opportunity:
We can offer you the opportunity to advance your career within a supportive academy environment. We provide excellent training and development opportunities within the Federation, including a full induction programme for newly qualified and experienced teachers. Training is both local and/or delivered through our excellent stand-alone training facility at the CLF Institute. For teachers, the CLF Institute aims to provide a continuum of development through each career stage from initial teacher training (ITT), for newly qualified teachers (NQT), recently qualified teachers in their early career development, to successive stages of leadership through to Headship and beyond. 

What we are looking for:
We look for passionate individuals who want to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation and chosen Academy. You will be used to planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons, will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach KS3 - KS4. We look for professional’s who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour.

Hans Price Academy is a forward thinking Academy based in Weston-super-Mare. The Academy provides education to a rising cohort of around 950 students at KS3/KS4 from September. The children at Hans Price Academy are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community. They benefit from a hugely positive and supportive learning environment. The Academy has retained its ‘Good’ judgement following our recent Ofsted Inspection. The report states that ‘The school is increasingly the school of choice for local parents and carers because leaders have established a culture of learning and high aspiration’

We have a new £14million building offering a range of outstanding resources and an embedded, highly effective ‘Ready to Learn’ behaviour system meaning students are not disrupted by low level disruption.

The Cabot Learning Federation is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. We currently are sponsoring academies in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Weston-Super-Mare; six secondary, eight primary, one all-through academy and a Studio School.  The Federation also has an overarching CLF Post 16 and specialist inclusion centres. Together we educate over 9000 children between the ages of 3 and 19 and the Federation is a major Teaching School in the South West.
