We believe in 'growing great teachers' and have a two year training programme in place for NQTs.
A bespoke in house CPD programme for all staff which, this year, is held on Thursday afternoons (the school closes early) and covers areas such as (and this is by no means exhaustive) Teacher Toolkit sessions, Leadership Pathways, Departmental Development Time, T&L Groups, IT Development and SEN Strategy.

We have invested heavily in our school with new Maths and English blocks added in the last 4 years and, this year, will be adding 2 new Science Classrooms to further enhance our school.

English Teacher (Maternity Cover - One Year fixed term contract) job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher for a one year fixed term maternity contract to join a thriving department in a successful school. You will be expected to teach across KS3 & KS4, so will need to be motivated and passionate about learning; a good team player with a commitment to high quality, inclusive education and be willing and able to contribute to the wider school community. If you have energy, enthusiasm and the desire to inspire a love of English then we would like to hear from you.
