What the school offers its staff

We are a high-performing, SEMH special school which was judged as Outstanding in every area by Ofsted in November 2016. We are not remotely complacent about this and are committed to ensuring that the quality of provision we offer to our students is consistently excellent. We believe that such sustained success is a team effort and every member of staff contributes to that level of excellence. We are a relatively small school, but we still have a distinctly ‘family’ atmosphere. Visitors to the School often comment on the friendly and supportive ethos.

Further details about the role

To ensure high quality education and equal opportunities for all pupils in a designated class ranging KS1 to KS5, and improve the quality of learning and standards of achievement, whilst working within the agreed school ethos and to the Structure, Policies and practice agreed by the governing body. To be responsible for ensuring child protection and the welfare and well-being of the children in our care.
