Job summary
Slough and Eton is looking for a great teacher to join our English department in September. We have an excellent team comprising of a great mix of experienced and recently qualified or training staff. English is a successful subject at Key Stage 4 and 5 and we are pleased to be able to recruit to this key team.
The department is in a dedicated English area and benefits from access to the latest Clevertouch interactive technology. The new member of this team needs to be a qualified English teacher with a love of English and reading. If that’s you then you will need to be hardworking, dedicated to ensuring students of all abilities can succeed and, crucially, a great classroom teacher. Previous experience of examination teaching at either KS4 or 5 is essential although there is no requirement to have taught post-16 previously. NQTs are encouraged to apply as this is a great team to develop your teaching skills with.
