Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an outstanding and inspirational teacher to join our successful and thriving English department in delivering creative and engaging English lessons. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people with a range of SEND and differentiating to support learners of all abilities and supporting those students with specific needs. They will have a desire to raise attainment across groups of students and to develop lessons and teaching material that is adaptable and accessible for a broad range of audiences.

The successful candidate will be a well-qualified subject specialist and will have excellent teaching skills. They will have an understanding of the expectations of the broad and balanced curriculum. They will need to have a commitment to inclusion and inclusive practices and a proven application of Behaviour for Learning strategies.

The Academy welcomes applications from NQTs and offers a rigorous ECT programme of support led by senior staff and Lead Practitioners.
