English Teacher job summary

 

Required for September 2021, an enthusiastic and highly skilled teacher of English to join our successful team. We offer applicants the opportunity to: - 

 

• work in a school with a very supportive staff ethos
• teach in an established team under the leadership of a highly effective Head of Faculty
• teach across all age/ability ranges which is likely to include sixth form classes
• live in a beautiful part of the country on the edge of the New Forest National Park close to the sea

The use of tablet computers and the school’s virtual learning environment (FireFly) is embedded across the curriculum. English teaching is supported with accelerated reading programmes and literacy intervention delivered by our Special Needs Team. We have a well-stocked library on site. Our librarians are committed to sharing their passion for literature with children and actively support English teaching.
