What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a talented and inspirational English Tutor who is academically specialised in English (at A-level, degree or equivalent) and is dedicated to putting the needs of students first and transforming the lives of our learners. Our students are at the centre of everything we do, and this role will help provide a positive learning environment for them to progress. We can offer you the opportunity to support students in 1:1 or small groups for subject-specific tuition lessons and working with Heads of Departments, you will identify and deliver appropriate interventions based on different learning styles, and report on student progress. You will provide the students with good guidance to help them flourish and achieve their potential. Our Head of English would be delighted to take you on a tour of the school and give you the opportunity to meet the department and answer any questions you may have.

As English Tutor, you will be welcomed into an experienced team of creative professionals to:

• Progress the English department to even greater successes

• Plan and deliver high quality and innovative lessons, adapted to different learning styles

• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

• Be confident in working with a variety of staff and students of all levels
