Hours of work: 28 hours, 25 minutes per week, term time only, including inset days
The Dean Academy requires a support worker to join our EPIC centre (our Enhanced Provision for Interaction and Communication) to work with the SENDCo to raise the learning and attainment of our students with a range of neurodivergent needs across the curriculum, promote student independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This will be achieved through the development and delivery of bespoke curriculum and wellbeing programmes within the centre and provide proactive and reactive support to students, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, be part of the school community and experience a sense of achievement, as well as supporting EPIC students and other students with EHCPs within the classroom.
The Dean Academy is an 11-16 school with approximately 750 students on roll in Lydney, in the beautiful Forest of Dean.
