Estates and Facilities Manager job summary

 
The Trust seeks to recruit an outstanding individual who will lead the implementation of an estates strategy and to maintain all aspects of the schools’ properties. They will also lead, support and develop site teams across the Trust and provide support and advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Finance and Operations. 

The successful candidate will be required to possess the following skills, experience and qualifications: 

•                     Interpersonal, relationship building and networking skills. 
•                     Procurement and negotiation skills. 
•                     The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload. 
•                     Time management skills. 
•                     Project management skills 
•                     Research skills and ability to draw information from various sources. 
•                     Keeping to budget 
•                     IT skills 
•                     Experience of managing a facilities service 
•                     Experience of managing staff 
•                     Building maintenance 
•                     Budget management 
•                     Experience of Emergency planning and Contingency 
•                     Advising on legislative compliance 
•                     Project Management 
•                     Management and/or Facilities related qualifications

The role will be based at the Vine Schools Trust Diocesan Offices, Chelmsford, Essex with frequent travel between the Trust schools' sites
