We are now seeking reliable and conscientious Exam Invigilators to join our team on a casual basis and help ensure the smooth and secure running of examinations.
About the Role
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the examination process, ensuring that students can perform at their best in a calm, supportive and well-organised environment.
Experience is not required β full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up examination rooms in line with regulations
- Supervise students during examinations, ensuring JCQ requirements are met
- Distribute and collect examination papers and materials securely
- Support students by giving clear instructions and responding to queries appropriately
- Maintain vigilance throughout exams and report any incidents or irregularities
- Assist with access arrangements where required (training provided)
- Return all examination materials securely to the Exams Officer

- Is reliable, punctual and flexible, particularly during exam periods
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Is calm, confident and reassuring with young people
- Has good attention to detail and a professional approach
- Has basic IT skills (email, messaging, etc.)
- Is willing to undertake training and follow confidentiality requirements
