Exam Invigilator job summary
George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community. Our aim is for all students to develop in knowledge, confidence and ability in a caring and inclusive learning environment.
We are currently seeking to recruit a bank of casual exam invigilators, readers and scribes who can promote a supportive atmosphere for all of our students during their examinations. Hours worked will be variable including early starts and on a demand basis so flexibility is essential.
Duties will include:
- The preparation of rooms prior to the start of exams
- The distribution and collection of examination scripts
- Provision of reading support to students during examinations
- Provision of written support to students, using clear and accurate handwriting
Experience is not essential, as training will be provided to successful candidates, but would be advantageous.
