Job Title: Exam Invigilators

Actual Hourly Rate: £12.86

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,819 - £25,548 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week.

An opportunity to provide flexible, casual support to the academy team during busy exam periods:

We are looking for Exam Invigilators to join our supportive and talented exam team at Monkton Wood Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. Our Academies need exam invigilators, readers and scribers to assist with scheduled exams across the Federation. As this is a casual position you will work when available and will be called upon when required to support the Academy during exam season.

This position requires flexibility as there are various exams held throughout the academic year, these usually fall within November, January and March. The Summer exams are held in May and June.  There are also mock exams for Years 9, 10 and 11 at different times throughout the year.  The working hours for this role can vary as exam environments have to be set up before the beginning of the school day and on occasions can sometimes continue after the school day has finished.

  •  practical experience of understanding and following processes and procedure.
  •  excellent interpersonal, good organisational and time management skills.
  •  have the ability to keep calm under pressure or during unexpected circumstances.
  •  have a caring and understanding attitude, sensitive and responsive to the needs of our students.
  •  the capabilities to work as part of a team but also under own initiative
