Exam Invigilator job summary

Ormiston Forge Academy is a thriving secondary academy and sixth form located in the heart of Cradley Heath, West Midlands, with a proud history of academic excellence and community involvement. Our Academy is not just a workplace—we are a family.

We are looking to recruit a number of Exam Invigilators to assist and supervise students during examinations throughout the academic year. You will need to work professionally as a member of a team to ensure that regulations are followed in a supportive environment for our students.

Applicants are required to have a calm and authoritative manner. You must be punctual, reliable, well organised, with good communication skills and a flexible attitude to work.

You will be jointly responsible for assisting the Examinations Officer with:

  • ensuring exam rooms are set up according to requirements
  • administration and supervision of examinations, observing candidates at all times and dealing with any incidents or irregularities
  • collection of completed examination scripts and materials

Previous experience is not essential as relevant training will be provided.
