Casual Examination Invigilators
We are looking for casual staff to join our team of Examination Invigilators. This role is to support our students, working with our Exams and Data Manager to ensure the smooth running of internal and external examinations.
The successful candidate will need to be reliable and highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills, someone who enjoys working with young people and is able to calm and effective at all times.
The role of an Examinations Invigilator is seasonal and part-time. Full training will be provided. You will be accountable for:
- ensuring a calm environment which will give the students the best possible opportunity to achieve their full potential in the examination.
- the organisation of students and paperwork at the start and end of each examination.
- ensuring the correct information and materials are in place for successful completion of the examination.
- ensuring that the conduct of the examination takes place within set guidelines.
The examinations take place during the months of February, May, June and November. We require individuals to be fully flexible with their availability during the examination season.
To be part of this team you must have:
- English and Maths GCSE/4 or equivalent
- the confidence to communicate effectively with staff and students
- the skills to be a good team member and also work on your own initiative
- the ability to be reliable and responsible.
