What skills and experience we're looking for
Invigilators need to be reliable, punctual and able to work to predetermined instructions, with the initiative and flexibility to respond to unexpected situations within the regulations of the examination. They should be able to work well in a team as well as alone.Invigilation opportunities available include:
- Working with large groups of students
- Working with individual students; reading (reading part of or all of the examination paper as directed by the candidate) and/or scribing (writing examination responses as dictated by the candidate)
Applicants should have good availability during the GCSE period from mid-May to mid-June.
Experience is not required as full training will be given.
