Examinations Officer job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Examinations Officer to manage all aspects of internal and external examinations at the school, including ensuring that the Exam Boards and JCQ Regulations are adhered to at all times.
This is an important and challenging role which sits in the centre of the academic life of the school and involves close interaction with students, senior staff, and a team of invigilators. Experience of administration compliance and regulations, along with exemplary attention to detail is vital. The Examinations Officer will work as part of a team in securing excellent teaching, learning and curriculum provision.
We are looking for:
Competency with Word, Outlook, Excel and other MS software. Knowledge of SIMS is desirable.
Experience of working within a similar role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
The working weeks are term time plus 4 weeks (43 weeks per year). This includes 4 days in the examination weeks in August to receive and distribute examination results and the last week in August prior to the start of term.
