Examinations Officer job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Examinations Officer to cover a maternity leave, to provide high quality and effective organisation of internal and external examinations. The postholder will also be required to assist the Data Manager with reporting and analysis as required, liaise effectively with exam boards and co-ordinate our team of exam invigilators.
Candidates must be well organised, confident in their use of IT and online systems, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Experience of working in schools is desirable but not essential.
The postholder will be required to work 24hrs/week, over four days, term time plus 2 inset days and 3 days in August to manage the exam results (39 working weeks). A flexible approach to the distribution of hours per week will be required due to the nature of the post. There will be an expectation to increase hours over five days (Monday to Friday), during the summer examination period. The additional hours worked during this period can be taken as TOIL after the summer exams have finished.
Salary - 16- 19 (£28,282 - £29,777 FTE) - this will be pro-rata for part-time and term time [hourly rate = £14.66 - £15.43]
