What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an Examinations Officer to oversee all aspects of internal and external examinations management within the school. The post holder will have excellent administrative skills, computer literacy and be highly efficient and organised. They will be articulate and able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with staff, exam invigilators, students, parents and examination board representatives. The ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm, composed, tactful and flexible is essential. The successful candidate will also link with our Finance Team, particularly regarding payments and transactions linked to examinations and invigilators.
It is expected that the post holder will be available to work during the summer holidays, particularly in mid to late August, in order to process examination results and support the post-results service.
Core hours are 35 per week, with flexibility depending on time of year as longer working hours are required during external examinations (May/June). Term Time, plus 10 days to be worked during exam results period in school holidays.
