About the Academy
Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas. This was recognised in our recent ungraded Ofsted Inspection which stated “This is a school at the heart of its community”, and “This is a calm and orderly school”. Following this inspection we remain an Outstanding School, and the report rightly celebrated our many strengths.
About the Role
The successful candidate will ensure the accurate management and running of all examinations and maintain accurate pupil tracking of key assessment data, thereby assisting SLT and Curriculum Leaders in raising standards within teaching and learning. They will also provide administration and data support to staff and students within the academy and provide Business Services with data and administration support. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good time management, and the ability to multitask and be able to work to tight deadlines. Strong IT skills specifically in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) are essential and experience of SIMS would be a definite advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided on all aspects of the role.
You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’.The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team is essential, as you will work alongside a team of exam invigilators. Experience of working in a similar role or environment would be an advantage, but we would also welcome applications from anybody who is considering a change in career and feels they can learn quickly with a high level of support.
Outwood Academy Bydales utilises OGAT’s established suite of pre-built analysis reporting tools; the successful candidate will be responsible for populating and maintaining these tools as part of raising student progress and achievement.
