Exams Invigilator job summary

The primary roles of an invigilator are twofold; to ensure that examinations are conducted according to the regulations and to ensure that all candidates have the opportunity to perform in the examination to the best of their ability. You will be required to supervise students during their examinations, ensuring that official guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of examination papers and procedures are followed. The working hours will vary during these busy exam periods; however, they will only be Monday to Friday during term time. Applicants need to be reliable and flexible, accuracy and organisational skills are essential qualities. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Examinations are conducted throughout the academic year and invigilators are expected to make a reasonable commitment to be available during the exam periods.
