Exams Invigilator job summary

Wey Valley Academy require Examinations Invigilators to be responsible for the smooth and effective conduct of examinations.


This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in supporting students through their exams and is looking for flexible hours on a casual basis.

We are looking for someone with a desire to support our Academy in ensuring our pupils reach their potential. You will be dynamic, resilient and motivated with a willingness to uphold our high expectations to secure “Outstanding Achievement for All”.


This role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, the successful applicants will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam scripts and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating during exams, and collating the exam papers to be sent off to the Exam boards. Duties may include reading and scribing for students during exams. Full training will be provided should you be offered the role with us.


We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.
