Exams Officer job summary

The Exams Officer will work as part of the Exams Team, taking the lead in exam related matters for the New College Pontefract site, in order to provide high-quality administration, organisation and smooth running of examinations across all colleges. A willingness to work flexibly within the team is essential as are strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.

You will receive a high level of strategic support from the Trust Exams Manager. There will be the opportunity to regularly meet with the Exams Officers from our other colleges to discuss and agree common approaches to examination functions.

Having previously worked in an examinations related role, the successful candidate may have experience of handling sensitive data, using Microsoft Word and Excel. You will have experience in examination procedures and processes, a willingness to undertake further training, relevant to the post and good problem-solving skills.
