Executive Assistant job summary

Due to the retirement of the previous post-holder we are recruiting for an Executive Assistant to support our Headteacher, wider Strategic Leadership Team and Governing Body. Our environment is fast paced and demanding but rewarding.

You will provide a high quality confidential administrative service to the team, taking responsibility for coordination and support of internal and external meetings, internal and external communication with a range of stakeholders from parents to DfE, and will support project work of the team through research and document drafting.

The main responsibilities for the post are to:

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Headteacher and wider SLT
  • Organise meetings, agendas, take minutes and follow up actions
  • Carry out educational research
  • Monitor statutory changes and advise on implications
  • Manage internal and external communications
  • Act as Clerk for the Governing Body
