What skills and experience we're looking for
The Executive Headteacher role is the most senior role within BCA and as such is responsible for setting the vision for the Academy. Through the wider Academy team and in partnership with the executive leadership team, this role is responsible for setting and delivering against the key strategic objectives of the Academy.
You will be a dynamic and compassionate leader with the ability to set a clear direction of travel and inspire others to achieve this. You will understand the importance of supporting others within your team whilst at the same time holding them accountable to deliver results. You are someone who can think ‘outside the box’ in order to achieve the best outcomes for colleague and the community. As a skilled leader, you bring a strong operations management skill set as well as a high level of emotional intelligence.
Reporting to our Trust Leader and supported by the Trust Leadership Team, you will be committed to designing the Academy Development Plan for the school as well as working with colleagues across the Trust to develop the curriculum.You will bring senior leadership experience in education as well as strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrable track record in cultivating innovation.A commitment to contributing to the wider development and strategic direction of the Trust as a member of the Leadership Team is essential.
