Executive Headteacher

Executive Headteacher of 3 schools (2 infant schools and 1 junior)

Part time: 3 days a week

As part of our exciting journey developing the Partnership of Ashbrook, Two Mile Ash and Holmwood (PATH) schools, we are looking for an Executive Headteacher with the vision and drive to lead this collaboration. Serving the adjacent communities, Ashbrook Infant School and Holmwood Infant School both feed into Two Mile Ash School – the opportunities to further embed the educational, pastoral and family support provision across all three is a key element of this role.

We are looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic and experienced school leader that will provide strategic direction, hold accountability across all three PATH schools and work closely with stakeholders, including the PATH Local Governing Body, Inspiring Futures through Learning MAT and our wider community. The post-holder will be an integral part of all three schools working collaboratively with the Heads of School and their SLTs to provide effective leadership for the PATH schools which secure their success and continuous development, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and the highest standards of learning, progress and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities

§ Promote and enhance the wellbeing of the teams, developing a distributed leadership, nurturing opportunities for all staff to learn and grow to their full potential.

§ Secure the long-term success of the PATH schools and the Trust by maximising the skills and resources held across the schools, ensuring a sustainable model is created for future growth,

§ Build system-wide leadership capacity at all levels through actively improving and inspiring leaders in line with the IFTL ambitious outcomes.

§ Develop staffing structures and roles, responsibilities and expertise that allow the schools to rapidly support and Improve,

§ Secure validation through external Inspection and quality assurance procedures that are reported to the Trust.

With schools across a radius of 1 mile in Milton Keynes, some travel between locations is expected.
