Executive Principal job summary
Executive Principal
As part of our exciting development plans for the Trust, we are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join as Executive Principal. The Executive Principal will work with the Board of Trustees and Principals across the Trust and have responsibility for the strategic development of both Waverley School and Waverley Studio College, working with the Principals of each school and meeting with them together as a Strategic Executive Leadership Team. The Executive Principal will also lead the Waverley School Secondary and Sixth Form Phases in a strategic and operational capacity, as well as other areas within the Trust.
The ideal candidate will share our determination to continue to provide an outstanding education for our young people without exception or bias. They will be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a proven track record of effective leadership. They will need to be high achieving and self-motivating and capable of playing a major role in further developing teaching and learning within the Trust. The Executive Principal role requires strong people management skills, empathy and excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Waverley Education Foundation is committed to the protection and safety of its students.
