Further details about the role

We are looking to appoint an Executive Support Officer to join the Twynham Learning Core Services (‘Head Office’) team of our multi-academy trust. Our trust is currently comprised of three secondary schools, five primary schools, Bournemouth Bay Teacher Training Partnership and Two Rivers Institute.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to support our CEO as we transform into a highly influential education provider for the Dorset, New Forest region and beyond. Twynham Learning is an organisation built firmly on its founding principles of Humility, Equality and Community, which make us a moderate, progressive and ambitious trust. We unashamedly recruit on character and potential combining high professional skills with the basics of decency, integrity, respect and aspiration for all of our colleagues. We have a culture of strong values, ambition for our community and commitment to shaping world class opportunities for the best generation of young people.

This post is an essential role within our newly expanded trust executive team and will be an important conduit between the wider organisation and the executive team. We are seeking an individual who can communicate with people of all backgrounds, able to quickly build relationships, establish trust and confidence and work independently. An organised mind that can make sense of key discussions and facts and identify priorities with strong organisational skills to ‘put down on paper’ key actions.

Providing an efficient, effective and confidential administrative support service to the CEO and other trust leaders centred around three key areas of executive assistance, support with strategic planning and marketing and communications. This post goes beyond that of an administrative/PA role and is the perfect role for an ambitious, smart, switched-on critical thinker and proactive-doer who will be undertaking highly important duties with the full support of the trust executive team, working at pace. Please see the Job Description for full details.
