Executive Talent Acceleration Programme - Assistant Principal job summary
Are you on your way to headship? What’s your ETA?
The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation is now recruiting for the next cohort of its Executive Talent Acceleration (ETA) Programme (L11-L17). This is an opportunity for a secondary specialist based at Haberdasher’s Aske’s Crayford Academy from September 2020.
Our ETA programme is entering its fifth year after 3 previous successful cohorts. The programme provides intensive support and coaching for colleagues who think they have the capability to be accelerated to headship. You will join the leadership team and take on the role of Assistant Principal with a whole school brief. Through the programme you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills and capabilities through structured professional development activities including supervision by the principal, coaching from the CEO of the Federation, a series of professional seminars, project management training and an immersion experience at one of our other schools.
If you are a middle manager more than ready for the next stage in your career or an Assistant Principal looking for a route to accelerate your professional learning and you believe you will be ready for deputy headship in a further two years with the correct support and development then we would like to hear from you. A full applicant pack, job description and person specification can be found on our website www.habsfed.org.uk/Staff-Vacancies/
To apply please complete the application form and supporting documents found on our website. Applications should be returned to Lauren Findlay, HR Administrator (l.findlay@haaf.org.uk), quoting reference number: 029/ETAP AP /201920/CALF
Commitment to safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
