Wroxall is a small village primary school currently consisting of five mixed-age classes. We pride ourselves on our CARE values (Challenge, Achievement, Resilience and Enjoyment) and are seeking a candidate who shares our commitment - to teach the right things, to the right children, in the right way and at the right time. Substantial building work at school is now complete. The £2000,000 development has transformed the facilities available for children and staff within school. We are in an ideal position now to move forward rapidly on our journey to becoming recognised as a good school by OFSTED.
At Wroxall Primary School we have high expectations for all of our children to achieve. We are seeking a new team member who shares this passion for excellence. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is keen: to develop their teaching and middle leadership skills, be proactive in raising standards of attainment and embodies our vision of providing the very best for each and every pupil. We are seeking an excellent teacher who has energy, enthusiasm, drive and dedication to join our team and truly make a difference to future outcomes for our children.
The role advertised is a class teacher post, teaching either our mixed 4/5 class or our mixed 1/2 class depending on the strengths and experience of the candidate. Working within a small school, each teacher is expected to take responsibility for leading some foundation subjects as part of their role, but this post may also include subject leadership responsibility for maths for the right candidate. Working as part of a supportive, hardworking and encouraging team, this will be fully supported by CPD in order to bring about rapid improvement within maths across the school. Wroxall Primary school is a reflective environment where you will be expected to contribute to a strong team ethos, supporting each other.
