Poplars Farm Primary School is a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bradford, West Yorkshire with 346 children, aged 3 to 11 years. In 2018, we began our journey to expansion; to become a two form entry school. This has involved the construction of a new purpose built nursery, a two storey Key Stage 2 building and a fabulous stand alone arts space.
Our school motto is, ‘Together we aspire, learn and grow’. We strive to create a safe, positive and inspiring learning environment, where each pupil will develop a love of learning and an enquiring mind. Our engaging, creative curriculum sets out to challenge and motivate our pupils and enables them to participate in the widest range of high quality learning opportunities.
We place a strong importance on the development of every pupil's personal and social awareness. We provide our pupils with the necessary guidance and support so that they see themselves as unique individuals who develop as responsible world citizens. Embedded in our values system (GROW) are local and global perspectives, to encourage an awareness and responsibility towards the world our pupils will one day inherit.
At Poplars Farm, we see education as a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our relationship with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together for their benefit.
