We are a successful and forward-thinking junior school with high standards and expectations for our pupils and those who work here. We are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher who is highly motivated, passionate, caring and talented professional with proven skills as an excellent teacher to join our supportive team. Our school was last inspected in June 2023 receiving our second consecutive ‘Outstanding’ grading, ‘Leaders expect the best for and from every pupil. Staff support and challenge pupils to meet these high expectations. There is a shared emphasis on making sure that all pupils keep up with the ambitious learning on offer.’

We are looking for an experienced teacher who:

  • Is an excellent practitioner with a proven track record of securing high standards in teaching and learning
  • Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all children
  • Has strong subject knowledge of the key stage two curriculum, in particular in reading, writing and maths
  • Has a strong understanding of the development of children as confident, resilient, independent individuals
  • Is able to provide exciting, creative and inspiring learning experiences for every child in their care
  • Is confident and competent using IT
  • Is a team player who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Is committed to high standards of personal and professional development
  • Is enthusiastic, ambitious and able to work with initiative
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience of teaching KS2 is essential.
  • Is passionate about playing their part in the wider life of the school and its community
