Experienced Teacher/Unqualified Teacher of Art job summary
You are someone who:
• Has the drive, ambition and creative flair to develop further the Art department across the school
• Is knowledgeable and can deliver Art across age, range and phase, from Key Stage 2 to GCSE
• Can teach a second subject: currently ICT across KS3 but this is negotiable
• Is an analytical and critical thinker, who strives to achieve the best progress and outcomes for our students
• Will support our students to understand the full spectrum of Art, including in the wider community
• Understands the importance of Art in the ambition of young lives and can convey this to students
• Is resilient and committed to working with students who are complex and sometimes hard to reach
• Has good organisational skills and the ability to ‘think outside the box’ to support a student’s personalised wellbeing, potential and educational achievement.
