We are currently seeking to recruit an Expressive Arts Technician to support our successful Art and PE Departments. Working both as an individual and as part of a team, you will carry out a range of tasks to facilitate an ideal teaching and learning environment for our staff and students.
The successful candidate will primarily support teachers within the Art Department which will involve being responsible for the condition and stock levels of all equipment and materials in order to meet the requirements of the department. You will help with the running of the classes and assist students in the safe use of equipment, supporting the teachers with the preparation of equipment and materials for lessons and the routine maintenance and servicing of such equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring Art displays around the school are well kept and routinely updated.
When required and as time allows, the Technician will also support our PE Department to assist in the efficient running of lessons by assisting in the organisation of practical equipment, including preparation and storage before and after lessons, assistance in administration tasks associated with the planning and implementation of PE activities and special events e.g. Sports Days and Sports Presentation Evenings.
