Shrivenham C of E Primary School (which is part of Faringdon Learning Trust) is a growing and successful school with happy, well-motivated and hardworking children and staff. We have recently moved into our brand-new purpose built school and from September 2024, we are expanding to include a 2-4yr old Pre-School provision and our Reception intake will increase to 45 children per year.

At Shrivenham, we believe the early years of a child’s life are a vitally important period of their education and development. If active minds are nurtured in a safe and structured way, through a high-quality early years experience, children will be better prepared for the next stage of their education and ultimately, their later life.

We require an enthusiastic Extended Provisions Assistant:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Extended Provision Assistant to assist with the planning, day-to-day organisation and operation. We are looking for somebody to assist with the provision of high quality play opportunities and care for children in a safe and inclusive environment. As part of the whole school team, the successful applicant will engage in suitable activities, recognising and adapting to individual children’s needs, supporting the Extended Provision Supervisor to ensure the provision operates within the schools framework. As role models, we expect our staff to have high expectations of all children and a positive approach to learning.

How to apply:

Step 1- In the first instance we would encourage potential applicants to contact the school office to book a visit and to meet informally with the Head of School.
