What skills and experience we're looking for
Fun Club provides a safe, warm and stimulating environment for pupils before and/or after the school day, supporting working families within our community. Under the direction of the Fub Club Supervisor, the successful candidate will work within our friendly and well-established before and after school club.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and development in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment outside of the formal classroom.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in before and after school sessions
- Deliver engaging activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all children feel valued and supported
- Support children’s social development, encouraging cooperation and independence
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with staff and parents
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children (desirable)
- Is patient, friendly, and approachable
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and communication skills
- Is organised, flexible, and able to use their initiative
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Minimum L3 qualification
