Extended Schools Assistant (After-School Club Assistant) job summary

Working pattern:  15 hours per week, 3pm to 6pm, term time only.
The actual starting starting is £6,235.46 per annum.

We are now recruiting for 2 x Extended Schools Assistants (After-School Club Assistants) to work in our after-school provision. 
This highly regarded provision requires someone who is passionate about young people and creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can flourish. You will work closely with parents, carers and other professionals to promote the wellbeing of the children.

About Robsack Wood Primary Academy

Robsack Wood is a school for 4 to 11 year olds in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We promote personal achievement for all our pupils and provide creative learning opportunities so that every child succeeds. Our pupils enjoy an exceptional learning environment including outdoor learning in our Forest School, a large grassed playing field, adjacent woodlands, garden areas and animal areas with chickens and ducks. We also host a nursery for children aged from 3 months.

We hold the Arts Council Artsmark Award and East Sussex Quality Mark for Inclusion. 

The University of Brighton is our sponsor.  We work closely with the University’s School of Education: in 2019 it was judged as Outstanding by Ofsted for all Initial Teacher Training and was awarded the Student Union’s school of the year.
