External Visits, Careers and Training Coordinator job summary
We are looking for an External Visits, Careers and Training Coordinator to join our committed support staff team at the Hastings Academy.
The role
To support the Assistant Principal in matter of administration relating to the curriculum and in particular educational visits, careers and training administration.
We are looking for someone who has:
-Good general education including literacy and numeracy skills
-Experience of working successfully and co-operating as a member of a team
-Basic knowledge of safeguarding including confidentiality, health and safety
-Confident in the use of Excel, Word, email and database programs
-Working knowledge of SIMS and NOVA T or equivalent timetable and database software
-Ability to prioritise, have excellent time management and organisational skills
-Ability to take responsibility and work on own initiative
-Promote a positive working environment
-Establish and develop appropriate relationships with parents, governors and local community
-Good communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to explain issues, answer questions and respond appropriately, particularly to students and parents

The role will be paid at a starting salary of £19,698 (pro-rata) per annum.
