Extra Club Playworker job summary
Pudsey Waterloo Primary School are looking to appoint an Extra Club Playworker to join our strong school team. The post is term-time only with additional hours available in the Holiday club.
There are two roles available – these could be fulfilled by one candidate in a combined role, or by two candidates in a job share arrangement.
The available roles are:
Before School (7:30am - 8:50am, Monday - Thursday), 5 hours and 20 minutes per week.
After School (3pm - 5pm, Monday - Thursday), 8 hours per week.
This post is to work in the Extra Club (Before/After School Club) to provide high quality child care for attending pupils and engage pupils with varied, creative and age appropriate activities. This post will suit candidates who are highly motivated, have the best outcomes for children at heart, and are able to effectively supervise children independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will be joining a like-minded and friendly school team. As part of Owlcotes Multi-Academy Trust, we have access to a network of Lead Practitioners who are equipped to support the successful candidate in developing their career.
Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to employment and will abide by Owlcotes Multi-Academy Trust's policies and procedures and Pudsey Waterloo Primary School’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
The deadline for applications for this role is 2nd December 2021 at 12pm. Interviews will take place on 7th December 2021.
