EY&P Practitioner job summary

Our happy and friendly team provides wrapround care for primary school aged children before and after school and pre school aged children for 7.30am until 3pm.

It's a fun environment with great facilities, based at Swavesey Primary School in our own purpose built building and outdoor space.

We are looking for candidates who:

Are committed to ensuring that all children enjoy their time with us.

Enjoy working in a team.

Are punctual and reliable.

Are friendly and approachable.

Experience or qualifications in childcare or the Early Years are welcomed but not essential as support for training will be available for the right candidate.

The start time is 7.30am and some degree of flexibility to support the centre up until 6pm (if additional hours are required) would be greatly appreciated.

Swavesey Primary School serves a rural catchment area, including the villages of Swavesey and Lolworth. We currently have 300 children working in 11 mixed age classes.

Our school provides a broad, challenging and practical curriculum within a warm, stimulating and imaginative environment to enable our children to enjoy their learning, as well as, develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge to become lifelong learners and achieve their full potential.
