Are you looking for a part-time post where you can focus on teaching a range of pupils?

Shotley is a small community coastal school with huge potential and amazing outdoor spaces and opportunities. We are seeking an experienced and confident teacher who can inspire a class with diverse needs who has high standards and a toolkit of strategies at hand to help develop each child as an individual, recognising and meeting their needs so they have the opportunity to thrive and meet their goals and raise their self esteem.
The successful candidate will help to cover classes from across reception and Key Stage 1, providing release for ECT's and teacher trainees and supporting with team teaching when needed. Ideally we are looking for someone to work 0.4 although a 0.6 post is available. There is also the opportunity to work more hours or full time across St Helen's and Shotley Community Primary School. This is a fixed term post for one year initially, but could become more permanent depending on changes over the year.
Research underpins much of our work and we work collaboratively at school and Trust level to ensure all of our pupils have access to the best opportunities and teaching we can give.
