EYFS Class Teacher 0.66FTE job summary
Shute Community Primary School is a 4 class rural school set in the village of Shute, near Axminster.
We are looking for applications from outstanding class teachers to join our friendly staff team from January 2021.
The post is a job share in our mixed aged EYFS/KS1 class. This class consists of our pre-school unit and reception pupils. There is a Teaching Assistant assigned to the class to support you.
High expectations and the capacity to enthuse and motivate children of all abilities are essential requirements for this post. You will be a committed, ambitious but reflective practitioner, keen to play an active part in the further development of the school.
We are a good school and looking for a teacher who thrives on challenge, has good curriculum knowledge and is passionate about securing positive outcomes for every individual.

Shute Primary is a rural village primary, in a beautiful setting, the school can accommodate children between the ages of 2 years 9 months and 11 years across its four classes of combined year groups. The Squirrels@Shute Foundation Stage Unit offers nursery age provision on site to aid a seamless transition between Nursery and School.
