What skills and experience we're looking for

The teacher will

  • Maintain and develop the Catholic character of the academy
  • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the Academy Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
  • Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards (career stage expectations)

The EYFS leader, under the direction of the headteacher, will take lead responsibility of the EYFS & Key Stage 1 to secure:

  • High-quality teaching and learning
  • Effective use of resources
  • Improved standards of learning and achievement for all
  • Effective implementation and improved outcomes of phonics and early reading
