What skills and experience we're looking for
A knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching styles.
An understanding of the importance of enhancing pupils’ self-esteem.
Knowledge and appreciation of current issues and developments in Education
Knowledge of what constitutes quality first teaching and learning
A clear understanding of behavior management
Communicate clearly both written and verbally
Praise and develop secure behavior management skills
Has a broad overview of the key components and expectations of the EYFS curriculum and the National Curriculum
An understanding of how pupils achieve high standards in phonics and Early Years reading across the school
Very high expectations for the achievement of pupils, staff and themselves
The ability to monitor and evaluate the teaching and learning environment
A commitment to the improvement of educational standards and results within school
The ability to ensure tasks are completed on time and to seek advice when required
Be forward looking and be an effective member of the team
Appreciate the importance of extra-curricular activities
