Interpersonal Skills

  • Establish effective working relationships with colleagues, being responsible for the deployment of support staff, involving them in the management of learning.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a small village primary school within a verysupportive community. This small-scale approach gives our children a realopportunity to thrive. We are seeking a committed teacher, with a passion for a child centeredcurriculum, to continue this approach and develop our provision further.

Hopton CEVC is an inclusive, rural school on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk. Weare very welcoming and friendly, with excellent relationships with our parents andwider community. Our school is in an exciting phase as we look to join the ElvedenSchools Trust and we work closely with the other two schools within the trust. Wehave forest schools and OPAL play starting which is an exciting offer for our schoolcommunity. We will be working with Early Excellence to support teaching andlearning next year.

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, class teacher as soon as possible. There willalso be the opportunity to lead curriculum subjects and this will depend on thesuccessful candidates’ particular areas of expertise, as well as the needs of theschool. Experience of teaching a mixed classes is desirable, as is a good knowledgeof the curriculum. However, if you are passionate about Early Years, we want to hearfrom you!
