EYFS GR3 Teaching Assistant (3 days) job summary

We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and a passion for delivering the best outcomes for all pupils, who is highly motivated and maintains consistently high expectations, strong organisation, proactivity, and positivity. They will be someone who fully engages children in their learning and makes a positive contribution to delivering quality learning experiences for our children. The successful candidate must be an experienced EYFS teaching assistant who can demonstrate a sound understanding of the EYFS Framework and children’s educational development across the relevant age range. We are interested in hearing about any particular curricular strengths or areas of expertise.

The successful applicant will:

  • Fully support the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • Early Years’ experience is essential.
  • Have high standards of oral, written and numeracy skills.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to small groups and or individuals
  • Be a great team player, and also be able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Committed to education and ensuring equal opportunities.
  • Take part in whole-school INSET activities to enhance job effectiveness
  • Experience working within a Catholic school would be desirable, but is not essential
  • This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016), and therefore, the ability to speak and understand English fluently is an essential requirement for this role.
