The Bilingual Primary School offers a unique opportunity to work in a bilingual environment in Spanish and English. The successful candidate will have the advantage of working in a new, purpose built school and, more importantly, to play a significant role in shaping the next phase of the school’s development to secure an outstanding bilingual education for children.

Leading in the Early Years, the person appointed will be in the position to make a difference, and to gain experience of innovating, creating and leading within an environment of professional trust and autonomy.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates who are fluent in Spanish, and the school welcomes overseas applicants.

We are looking for an outstanding EYFS teacher and leader who:

Is able to inspire, enthuse and lead colleagues within the EYFS;

Has an understanding of and/or interest in bilingual education;

Forms exceptionally positive, proactive partnerships with parents and carers with a strong focus on developing effective strategies for communication;

Has evidence of developing their own practice and improving and influencing great teaching;

Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum allowing him/ her to provide exciting contexts through which children can learn and deepen their understanding;

Creates an ethos of eagerness in their class ensuring children love learning and are motivated and confident and constantly prepared to reflect and improve;

Knows their class well and are exceptionally skilled at planning and adapting their teaching to meet the needs of every child;

Promotes our core drivers of autonomy, curiosity, perseverance and collaboration.
