What the school offers its staff
Make
sure you think hard before you apply however, as you must be truly committed to
making a difference in the lives of children who will be experiencing some gaps
in their development due to ongoing issues that have arisen from lockdowns,
school absences or they may have recently arrived in the country. We will be
working hard to support our children to settle into school and make up on what
has been missed – academically, socially and spiritually.
St Joseph’s has a team of friendly, devoted staff who have already established strong routines and high expectations throughout the school as well as a culture of enjoyable, innovative learning based on the latest research into cognitive science. It’s no good applying if you have no sense of fun or you lack passion; we want a positive, proactive person with clarity of vision for education and someone who is not afraid to be a bit maverick with ideas that will excite and engage our staff and children.
Commitment to safeguarding
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
Offers of employment may be subject to the following checks (where relevant):
