EYFS Teacher job summary
Bude Primary Academy Infants is looking for a full time maternity cover Teacher from September 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly, enthusiastic, aspirational and hard working EYFS team and to continue our journey of rapid momentum.
You will need to:
- believe in our children and put their best interests at the heart of every drive for improvement;
- be an excellent, reflective, perseverant teacher who sets high expectations for themselves and for children’s social/academic progress;
- be a team player who will embed the systems we have in place while also bringing innovative ideas;
- have experience in the Early Years and share our passion for learning through play, while also embedding routines to prepare children with the skills they need to progress through school;
- be familiar with the new EYFS curriculum and to show a good understanding of assessment;
- have a love of literature, language and powerful vocabulary which you can weave into teaching and learning;
- be a good communicator with everyone in our school community and be able to develop positive and effective relationships;
- teach in a fun, dynamic, exciting way with lots of wow moments for infectious learning!

Bude Primary Academy combines Bude Infants and Bude Juniors. We also share an Area Resource Base.
Our Heads of School work in partnership across the two schools and both play an active role in our pupils' journey through the Key Stages. Each school has its own identity and leadership team but share pastoral and special educational needs staff to ensure continuity.
