EYFS Teacher for Nursery job summary
Are you a creative, talented nursery teacher who can add your own energy and vision to our Early Years team?
Supported by our experienced Early Years Leader, you will stimulate and inspire our youngest pupils to achieve their best in a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow and develop into independent learners.

This role is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers and there are opportunities for development through our effective middle leadership programme. Experience in delivering the Forest Schools initiative would be an advantage.
This role will be full-time covering the morning nursery class plus afternoon sessions enabling us to provide the 30 hours provision. You will have the opportunity to review the afternoon provision and shape the role, so that it complements the morning’s learning and continues to develop and challenge the children in line with the early learning curriculum. Ideally the role would start on 22 February 2021 but applications will also be considered for teachers who are able to start at the beginning of the summer term.
The nursery, is extremely well resourced both inside and outside and you will be able to work closely with your experienced teaching assistants as well as the reception team.

Harvey Road Primary School is a highly oversubscribed, popular community school and admits children between the ages of 4 and 11. We are a one form entry school with 210 children on roll plus 30 children in our Nursery. The school is situated within a residential area and is very close to local woodlands. The grounds are extensive and include a playing field, three playgrounds, outdoor swimming pool and nature area.
