What skills and experience we're looking for
Be an Inspirational classroom practitioner with evidence of excellent classroom practice.
Have high expectations of all pupils, both socially and academically, and a strong commitment to raising standards.
Place a strong emphasis on creativity and ensuring pupils enjoy their learning.
Have excellent knowledge of the Foundation Stage/Key Stage 1 curriculum including the teaching of phonics.
Show commitment to the wider life of the school.

Forest Academy is situated in the heart of the Suffolk town of Brandon. Forest School dates back to 1st October 1912. We converted to Academy status in November 2010.
The Academy is a two-form entry primary school with a 60 place Nursery which is able to offer a limited number of 30 hour places. The Victorian EYFS building houses both the Nursery and Reception classes. Years 2 to 6 class bases are in the main building and Year 1 is located in the Wildflower building. The school has a large outside area with two playgrounds, a playing field, a woodland area, an environmental garden and play equipment for both KS1 and KS2.
